Thermal Styrofoam – all of our products are manufactured in our Velis LTD facilities in horizontal vacuum blocks using steam pressure. No gases harmful to human health are used during the manufacturing process. When used within standards, it has an unlimited lifespan with no change in its insulation value or physical structure. Thermal Styrofoam is produced using a special block system, manufactured at densities ranging from 10 kg/m³ to 30 kg/m³, and cut to desired dimensions and thicknesses using a hot-wire cutting system.
WHAT IS EPS POLYSTYRENE?
EPS is one of the best, most economical and environmentally friendly insulation materials known, thanks to its superior properties. Expanded Polystyrene boards used in insulation and providing high performance are very lightweight and do not affect the static load of the building. As the density of the boards increases, so does the insulation rate. EPS, produced in various densities, has a wide range of applications owing to its advantages.

WHAT IS CARBON EPS?
Approximately 40% of energy consumption originates from buildings, and energy management applications in buildings are growing year by year in both European countries and Turkey. While the importance of thermal insulation materials increases daily, R&D activities have also accelerated. After extensive research, carbon-based polymers have been developed. Carbon-based polymers are specialty technology products that combine superior thermal conductivity values with environmentally friendly production processes. Their production and consumption are rapidly increasing alongside growing preference. Carbon EPS, thanks to the carbon-based polymer structure and the addition of special infrared reflectors, has significantly reduced the radiation contribution to overall thermal conductivity, delivering 20% higher thermal performance compared to conventional EPS products with a thermal conductivity value of 0.031 W/m.K.
The ability of our living spaces to breathe is one of the most important considerations. The insulation material used must not
impede the breathability of the living environment while insulating the home. Carbon EPS is a breathable thermal insulation material thanks to its vapor-permeable structure. It has up to 5 times higher vapor permeability compared to rigid insulation materials in particular. Carbon EPS carbon-based polymers hold DIN 4102 – B1 and Euro E class fire ratings. Carbon EPS's new technology offers superior properties for correct insulation.
